Purpose

The International Institute of Certified Public Accountants ("IICPA") is an international professional organization serving the public with information, education and resources in accountancy and related occupations.

The IICPA welcomes academic and professional institutions' input, participation and academic membership.

Vision

Resistance to change is pervasive. John Maynard Keynes famously argued that what prevents society from creating positive futures is not a shortage of good ideas but our inability to let go of the past.

Mission

The mission of the IICPA is to sense the pulse of change before it happens and to develop international forward-looking and dynamic—as opposed to stale and static — superimposed generally accepted accounting principles — IICPA SuperGAAP® — and auditing standards that embrace and report the prospective economic realities of the future instead of only the past.
